So when you encounter problems with Panasonic inverter microwave, troubleshooting can help identify the possible cause. Fortunately, most of these issues can be resolved easily at home.

Below is a brief explanation of what these problems are all about and what you can do to fix them. We will also talk about how to troubleshoot Panasonic inverter Microwave problems.

Panasonic Inverter Microwave Turns Off After Sometime

The most possible cause for a microwave oven to shut off after some time is a defective touchpad/membrane switch. The control panel is a collection of switches and buttons that control the unit, and therefore, if the touchpad is defective, then your Panasonic start button will not work as expected.

Any related problem will disconnect all the buttons including the Start/on the pad. You can test a defective touchpad by pressing the Start or other buttons on the control panel. If you see that some buttons are functioning but others are not, that’s a sign that the touchpad needs a replacement. Additional testing with a voltmeter will give you a conclusive diagnosis.

Panasonic Inverter Microwave Door Problems

If the hook of your microwave is not drawing or the door is not closing, the problem could be the door lock. When this happens, it means that the door latch and the springs that connect to them need more strain. Otherwise, the hooks will not meet the switch as expected.

In some cases, all you need to do to fix a problematic microwave is to perform some little adjustments. While some problems are very common and basic, you might want to check if the door switch needs adjustment.

Adjusting the door switch can help get the door back to normal and working properly just like before. Note that you might want to contact the customer care center of Panasonic for the most ideal solution and how to apply it.

Worn Out or Malfunctioning Latch

A worn-out malfunctioning microwave latch seat is an unsafe feature and a hazard that requires immediate attention. A faulty latch will prevent your oven from starting. Fortunately, this issue can be easily fixed using spare parts available in distributor shops. Even so, we recommend that you get a tech to fix the latch if you’re not well-versed with DIY processes.

Panasonic Inverter Microwave Problems

The process of cleaning a Panasonic microwave inverter is quite similar to that of cleaning a regular oven. It doesn’t really matter how messed up the interiors look, the tricks are similar.

Before you start cleaning any electrical appliance, the first and most crucial step would be to disconnect it from the power supply. Switch off the socket and plug out the cable. You will need the following tools: Water, a mild detergent, vinegar/baking soda, a sponge, a microwave-safe bowl, and a clean, dry cloth.

Put water in the microwave bowl and add soap. Then microwave it at the highest temperature for one minute. Remove the turntable glass and the bowl from the unit.

Soak the turntable in warm soapy water and quickly grab a wet sponge and use it to clean the inside of the oven while it is still steamy. Remember to clean the doors and the exteriors. Once you’re done, rinse the oven’s surface with a clean cloth and clean the turntable glass wipe dry before putting them back in place.

This should eliminate the sticky grime and stubborn stains. In case doesn’t work, consider using vinegar, lemon, or baking soda in the cleaning process. These three can help remove stains, freshen, and disinfect your microwave.
